KWCUSA Forms etc. for KWCUSA Tournament Hosts.

Your comments are always welcome, ...all graphic artists are invited to offer their own unique artistic.

These include the forms for entry, and scoring as well as advertising and reporting the events. Again, your suggestions are always welcome, as we are all learning together what it takes to make hosting and judging of contests efficient and fair.

We may also post other documents here to be used by the hosts, clubs, companies, etc, and anything else which may be helpful to print for this contest such as certificates of appreciation and awards.

Contest forms are ONLY for use by KWC (all nations) and KWCUSA contest hosts and personnel. Any other use may a violation of copyright, or fraud. Using them to promote KWC or KWCUSA is excepted... as you may show them to people to help spread the word, but they may not be used in, or modified for, non-KWC/KWCUSA events. Hosts in the USA who are participating are ALWAYS posted on their region's page, with NO exceptions. This note is included to let everyone know that we will make an effort stop any fraudulent contests and prohibit any theft, ...copyright or otherwise.Contestants, are encouraged to report any contest using our name who is not listed on their regional page as a host. This contest belongs to all of you, REPORT ALL VIOLATORS to us. Okay, eh? (So: thanks, everyone for respecting our rights and making up your own forms! Say! Why not join on as an official host?)

After printing, you may add your company information before making photo copies.

When you click a form below, a new page will open with the image as a background.
You may then print the page by clicking (assuming you are using Internet Explorer) on "File" ... "Print".
You may then also choose to save the image (once you have clicked on them below to open in a new page...) by "right clicking" on the image, then clicking "Save Picture As".
You may also (after clicking one...) save the entire page by clicking "File" then "Save As".

Entry Form

You will need one entry form per entry, but it is good to have a few extra. Hand them out freely to all who wish to receive one. Let contestants fill out the form, then collect the entry fee as they return them.
Assign a number to each contestant and record it in the upper right of their entry form.

Judge Form

Use separate forms for male and female contestants.
Each form has columns for five contestants each singing three songs.
Each judge will need a form for every five contestants.
(In KWCUSA semi-finals and finals, 6 forms should be provided to cover the maximum of 30 contestants.)
For 4 judges (3 judges plus an alternate judge) and 30 singers, 24 judge forms would be needed.
Upon completion, the results should be transfered to the work sheets (male and female separately.)

Judges Worksheet

Tally the worksheets to find the contest finalists. Record their name on the finalist certificate along with information on subsequent event they are entitled to enter. (They need contact information, venue location, and the time of the next contest. This next event could be anything from your tournament semi-finals to KWCUSA finals.}
The contest host should announce the finalist and award them a finalist certificate along with any additional prizes they may have.

Contest Event Summary Form

Each event should be summarized and reported to KWCUSA within a week. The report should summarize the total fees, donations, and number of contestants. The summary should include contact information for the finalists entitled to advance.

Judging Guidelines

These guidelines for judging are used world wide and are still correct for 2005.

Certificates

Click below for presized finalist certificates. Print the page which opens.
These certificates should be filled out and given to all KWCUSA finalists. It should be signed by the host and include the time and place of the next event (or contact information if this is not available.) Hosts should report the names of certificate holders preferably using the event summary form (above.)

The following contest announcement page is a webpage which may be modified before printing.
After clicking to the page, simply enter your information directly as if filling out a form, then print.
You may need to adjust your browsers font size for best results. Pages have been designed and tested using MEDIUM font size. You may also print out a blank form and fill in the information by hand later.

Tabletop Tent Cards

This is a readymade 2-tent image. Add your own graphics, and fold at three places and glue tab. Print out with 1/8th in boarders top and sides and 1/4 boarder on bottom (which forms the glue tab.)

We are discussing the making of team
jackets with A-1 American Flags with a
KWCUSA logo. All official contest hosts
and venues are welcome to use KWCUSA
logos and images in connection with
their tournaments. Participating hosts
may use the KWCUSA name and logos freely
for their merchandising and advertising.

The saucer logo originally was inspired by KWCUSA's association with E.T.'s Cosmic Karaoke and DJ .
It is rendered using a version (known as The Density File Extension V04, compiled by R. Suzuki.) of the ray tracing programPOV-Ray.
If you are a Ray-Tracer, and are interested in the code, drop me a line.

Below are a couple of new renderings of the saucer used at KWCUSA. These new ray tracings include a microphone a top the saucer. Host may click on them to open a full sized version to save it for use later. (Or right click and then SAVE TARGET as.)

A flying saucer has been a part of E.T's Cosmic Karaoke & DJ's for many years. As E.T.'s was offering the space for our KWCUSA web site, it seemed only natural to include our own versions of the saucer. The original saucer drawing was left on a napakin in a pub many years ago and re-drawn by Eric's dad, Avaton. Ours is an original raytracing, and version two saw the addition of our American flag reflecting off of it's hull. Version three has a microphone mounted a top, and has been rendered with the sky and also high above the earth.

It has been suggested that KWCUSA move away from including the saucer, and just render the microphone reflecting the American flag. It has also been suggested that we include The Statue of Liberty or Uncle Sam (...and Mrs. Uncle Sam) modified by the addition of a microphone. Any comments? You are all welcome (as part of KWCUSA) to make your own images and share them with our hosts and venues. Blending our images with yours (again 'you' being part of KWC or KWCUSA.) Our American flag could be replaced by a state flag, or another nation's flag and the raytracing program run to create a custom version. (If curious about ray tracing, please FIRST visit povray.org, and download and install their free raytracing program.)

The cool banners and logo near the bottom are the Official KWC banners and logo from Finland.

This first logo below has a clear background.

The reversed logos are for use with iron on transfers, for printing T-Shirts etc. (Iron on transfer paper is for use with your computer's printer and is available at most copmuter and office supply stores.)

Certificates from prior seasons...

Certificates of participation are available here for contest participants.
You may download and print them out to be filled in and signed by the contest host. Ask you host or venue if they will be providing their own customized versions also.
The other certificates are for the winners of local preliminary round competitions, and for the Hosts and Venues themselves.
These may be customized further by including a line identifying the sponsors, (or in other ways) by Hosts, Venues, as they desire.
If you desire a higher quality printed version, be patient. We may also make KWCUSA images available on the variety of products offered through cafepress.com
to help support the contest. Participating host are encouraged to do the same.
